One night while drinking with my friends, I got into a fight with a heavily intoxicated man at a bar. During the altercation, the man pushed me several times in the chest, causing my glasses to fall off. As a result, I filed a complaint at the nearby police office and was informed that the prosecutor is pressing charges against him. However, the man has since contacted me and requested that I write a statement expressing my desire to drop the charges against him in exchange for money. I complied with his request, but he has not paid me the agreed amount. I now wish to withdraw my statement and proceed with pressing charges against him.
