I would like to begin selling beer at my current coffee shop which has been reported as a rest restaurant business. Since our main menu is mostly comprised of coffee drinks, am I allowed to continue to operate my establishment as a rest restaurant business?

The sale of alcoholic beverages is not permitted in a rest restaurant.
If you wish to sell alcoholic beverages at your coffee shop,

you need to report it as a general restaurant business, and

Ensure that your coffee shop is equipped with facilities that meet the criteria for operating general restaurant businesses.
